Events / Projects

In addition to the Rotary Club of Tulsa's Avenues of Service, the Club also plans, promotes and hosts a number of other events and projects. Among them are:

  • Above & Beyond - An annual awards ceremony honoring our top Police Officer and top Firefighter of the year.
  • Camp Enterprise - A four-day executive-style retreat designed to teach our youth about the opportunities, challenges and obligations of a free enterprise system
  • Our Centennial Project - Celebrating our Club's 100th year, and the service provided by Rotarians around the world
  • Crescendo Music Awards - Promoting music through competition amongst our nation's top musical students
  • Iba Awards - Given in recognition of America's premier athletes who have excelled in their sport and have shown by their actions a desire to help others.
  • Own A Well - An opportunity for small and robust Rotary clubs as well as individuals to participate in the Nicaraguan Water Well Drilling Program, a viable and vital international project started in 2000 by the Rotary Club of Tulsa, providing potable water to the poor who live in the villages of Nicaragua.
  • Partners In Education - Mentoring and tutoring Celia Clinton Elementary School students since November 1993.
  • Shop With A Cop® - Providing Celia Clinton Elementary School children who otherwise would not be able to experience the joy of giving the opportunity to purchase holiday gifts for their families. While the police officers and children shop for their families, Rotarians assist with the process, creating a joy-filled experience and allowing the children to see the police officers as real people and someone to go to for help.
