Donna Orender, President
WNBA
Donna Orender, President of the Women’s National Basketball Association since February 2005, wil be our featured speaker on Wednesday, March 10th. Orender oversees all WNBA business and league operations. Her sports career began in television production. Prior to joining the WNBA, Orender spent 26 years with the PGA Tour in various positions. Most recently she served as the Senior VP of Strategic Development in the the Office of the Commissioner.
Orender also played college and professional basketball. She also has been named to numerous ‘Most Powerful’ lists across the sports entertainment industry and serves on several boards.
A native New Yorker, Orender is married to MG Orender, Honorary President of the PGA of America and owner/partner in Hampton Golf, Inc. She has twin boys, Jacob and Zachary, and two stepchildren, Morgan and Colleen.
